A vibrant red wine born from a delicate appassimento process that enhances depth while preserving freshness and energy. The wine opens with vivid aromas of wild berries, dried flowers, subtle spice, and mineral notes, supported by a dynamic and elegant structure.
The wine is aged for twelve months in stainless steel followed by twenty-four months in bottle, developing complexity while maintaining purity and tension. Neither filtered nor fined, it expresses the authentic character of the vineyard and vintage.
Produced from Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara, Croatina, Oseleta, Lugliana, Tintora and Quaiara grown on the upper slopes of Monte Timarol, from vines of almost 80 years old trained in the Guyot system.
The vineyards are rooted in rocky calcareous soils with a core of Rosso Ammonitico limestone, between 250 and 311 meters above sea level, with east, south, and west exposure.
